Venue Spotlight: Palm Beach Zoo

This month I’m highlighting an incredible wedding venue that I’m extremely excited to work with. Like any kid, I was fascinated with animals. I even had a subscription to ZooBooks. Do you remember those? As an adult, I still enjoy frolicking thru the local zoo and animal sanctuary. So imagine my delight when I discovered that you can have a Palm Beach Zoo Wedding! With a lovely lakeside terrace area to host a reception, beautiful fountain backdrop for a wedding ceremony and the opportunity to have animal encounters during your cocktail hour, this is a great location for the bride looking for something a little different. Take a walk on the wild side.

Here’s to Romance…Wishing you a Happy Valentines Day

This time of year is always one of my favorites! Love and romance is all around. The men in our lives are all clamoring to find a way to best express themselves. Whether through a box of heart shaped candy or a bouquet of beautiful flowers, they are trying to please us. But the romantic gestures don’t have to stop with them.

Sadly, my boyfriend lives 2000 miles away. So when I visited him a few weeks ago we decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day early. He made reservation at a lovely restaurant but I wanted to surprise him with from Valentines Day Decorations. Thanks to the Dollar Store and some creativity on my part, I was able to spruce up his apartment with decorations, cupcakes, wine and flowers. He was floored when he came home for work before our dinner.

What’s a better appetizer to dinner than cupcakes with wine?

Again, for inexpensive but fun decorations hit the Dollar Store. You never know what you can create!
