Being Comfy on Your Wedding Day

This week as I’ve been busy prepping for some up-coming weddings, I was pleasantly surprised to receive emails from both and informing me that they were going to feature us! Cue my happy dance!
On Tuesday we were quoted in an article on titled What Not to Wear If You Want to Be Comfy on Your Wedding Day. As someone who craves comfort, I was happy to contribute my thoughts on how to remain comfortable on your wedding day. The gist? Wear comfortable shoes and be careful of dresses with boning as they can start to irritate over time.

Yesterday we were featured on Each week they pick an outstanding vendor for their Vendor Happy Hour. We are honored to be their choice this week featuring our Polo Club Wedding beautifully photographed by Krystal Zaskey Photography with florals by Gerilyn Gianna Event and Floral Design.

    Venue Spotlight: Harriet Himmel Theater

This month I’m highlighting a beautiful and unique venue that I’m super excited to work with. As a graduate of Dreyfoos School of the Arts, I was around when Harriet Himmel Theater first opened to the public as an event space. My senior prom was held there! On top of that, I love a gorgeous theater and the Harriet Himmel Theater is truly breathtaking. It has the the elegance of a traditional venue mixed with the drama of a theatre.
Guests begin their journey by entering on the grand staircase outside, which also makes for a lovely sparkler exit at the end of the evening. The theatre itself is surrounded by an upstairs balcony where guests can peer below. The balcony make for a great cocktail hour space with the theatre being the main attraction. With the help of professional light and sound, the theatre transforms to showcase any theme. Ovations!, the on-site caterer, create custom menus to satisfy even the pickiest of pallets. I could go on and on, but you should check it out for yourself. On with the show!
Capacity: 200 Seated Dinner, 400 Theater-Style, and 600 for Cocktail Reception
Cost: $3,800 for the entire space for a four hour event with three hour set-up and one hour breakdown. Additional $1,500 for ceremony
Unique Features: Feel like a star standing center stage during your big day!
