Elegant Blush and Peach Wedding at Rustic Manor
The newest addition to the Milwaukee wedding venue scene is Rustic Manor 1848 – a gorgeous and historic barn located in the Milwaukee suburb of Delafield. As a refurbished barn, it has all the comforts of a new wedding venue combined with the style of a 1800s barn. Highlighting the beauty of the venue’s stunning architecture and location was our number one priority, so we focused on creating a timeless and breathtakingly beautiful Milwaukee wedding.
As a Milwaukee wedding planner, it was my responsibility to select a theme. We went with a color scheme of cream, blush, pink and green with bronze accents created the sense of timeless romance for which we strived. It started with the selection of the bride’s gorgeous blush Tara Keely gown accented with pieces by Milwaukee’s own Lizzibeth . All the stunning printed materials created by Chirp Paperie highlighted the romantic color scheme. Belle Fiori Floral transformed the tablescape utilizing delicate floral and Wisconsin green apples accented bronze terrariums, lush greenery and twinkle lights.
A top a camel linen, sat white ruffle chargers, floral dinnerware, bronze flatware and a trio of bronze rimmed crystal and pink stemware courtesy of Anthropology. Each place setting was embellished with a piece of Wisconsin cheese that served as escort card and favor. The guest chairs were draped with hand dipped yarn to complete the romantic look. The incredible naked cake expertly crafted by Eat Cake Milwaukee continued the romance with beautiful floral, scrumptious Wisconsin fruit and yarn accented cake table.
With a property spanning 12 acres, Rustic Manor 1848 has enough space to host the entire wedding day. We explored the property for amazingly romantic locations, including a babbling brook only steps away from the ceremony site. A lovely field surrounded by towering trees serves as a the ceremony site. Belle Fiori Floral transformed the wooden arch by adding stunning floral and flower filled hanging crystal orbs. It was the perfect backdrop.
The cocktail hour featured a beer flight of Wisconsin and Milwaukee brews and the German heritage of Milwaukee made it appropriate to incorporate an accordion in the fun. No barn wedding would be complete without lawn games, which were definitely a great addition. Twinkling lights hanging from various trees completed the outdoor decor.
Every aspect of this romantic and timeless Rustic Manor wedding was captured perfectly in digital and film Elizabeth Haase Photography and Sweet Pea Cinema .
