Understated Wine Themed Wedding at The Addison Boca Raton

In Florida, there are only a handful of locations where you can get married outdoors but not be by the ocean. The Addison Boca Raton is one of those magnificent locations. Featuring 100-year-old Banyan trees, the old-world elegance and flawless charm of this venue makes it a favorite among couples, including Michelle and Nigel. An Addison Boca Raton Wedding is just what they wanted!

Michelle and Nigel are lovers of wine, so naturally they decided to featured wine prominently throughout their day. The tone was set by their elegant invitation suite that featured a bubble design to emulate the bubbles that form in the glass as wine is poured. This lovely theme was then carried throughout the day, starting with the wine box unity ceremony and ending with mini wine bottle favors.

The ceremony took in the shadow of the majestic Banyan trees. Michelle was stunning in her lace, mermaid dress. Within the traditional Episcopalian service, they incorporated a wine box unity ceremony. During this service, Michelle and Nigel placed a bottle of wine and love notes into the wine box. Then they nailed the box shut. The box is to be opened at their 5-year anniversary so that they can reflect on the love they shared and enjoy a glass of wine. It is a lovely variation of the traditional unity candle ceremony.

The stunning main dining room of The Addison Boca Raton served as the reception space. With its warm cypress wood beams, dramatic wrought-iron chandeliers and distinctive black and white floor, it was the perfect backdrop for an effortless wine theme wedding. Guest tables were adorned with wine bottle centerpieces filled with blue delphiniums, blush calla lilies, white cushion daisies and bear grass. The place settings were embellished with elegant menu cards and wine corks. To end the celebration, the best man treated the couple to the dream getaway car – a convertible Porsche 911 4s! What an amazing surprise.

Whimsical Emerald and Amethyst Wedding at The Wanderers Club

The newest addition to the Palm Beach wedding venue scene is The Wanderer’s Club – a gorgeous golf club located in the suburb of Wellington, Florida. This stunning venue offers a variety of event spaces to utilize. From a romantic terrace wedding ceremony to the elegant ballroom reception to the chic post wedding brunch on the golf course, every location is timeless and beautiful. A Wanderers Club Wedding is perfect for any couple!

Playing off of the colors found in gemstones, a color scheme of emerald and amethyst with gold accents was highlighted. It began with the selection of the bride’s striking gown from Mariolka’s Bridal that was accented in gold lace. Then the theme was carried through to the printed materials created by Chirp Paperie, which featured a gemstone inspired invitation suite and coordinating table numbers. The theme was brought to life by the enchanting floral design by Orange Blossoms Floral.

The wedding ceremony took place on the terrace with sweeping views of the golf course. Greenery was draped from the ceiling and lined the aisle creating a romantic garden feel. Lanterns filled with red and pink roses were accented by green moss and hung to create a backdrop for the ceremony. Clear chiavari chairs with amethyst chair cushions added color throughout the space. Opposite the ceremony space was the cocktail hour that featured the hanging lanterns as well.

A stunning white tent was set-up on the golf course to serve as the reception space. With white draping and crystal chandelier delicately strung from the ceiling, the reception was a chic take on the elegant theme from the wedding ceremony. Low centerpieces of red and pick roses, purple hydrangea and lush greenery were placed upon a white on white patterned linen. Gold chargers with gold flatware and white napkin embellished with a flower adorned each place setting. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing brunch.

Romantic Wisconsin Farm Wedding

When I first met Maggie and Rob, their love was magnetic. You couldn’t help but smile when you were around them. It’s so amazing to be in the presence of a love like that. So you can imagine my excitement for their wedding day.

Maggie loves her aunt and uncle’s farm in Wisconsin and her dream was to have a romantic farm wedding. A romantic farm wedding is a great way to have a laidback ambiance with touches of elegance. Luckily, the farm housed horses and stunning blue barn – what’s not to love?

The ceremony took place in the shade of the front yard. Maggie’s cousins artfully performed the music, including an instrumental version of the theme song to “Game of Thrones.” Rob’s dear friend performed the ceremony. Another lovely gesture of the wedding was that the horses watched the whole ceremony from their field.

A stunning white tent was erected in the yard to serve as the reception space. With bistro lights delicately strung from the ceiling, a romantic glow was cast across the tent. A trio of mason jars filled with lush white hydrangeas, green hydrangeas and wild flowers atop a burlap doily adorned the guest tables. During cocktail hour, guests were entertained by various lawn games including Giant Jenga, Ladder Ball, Cornhole and Bocce Ball.

The highlight of reception was the Donut Display from Holey Moley Donuts. Maggie and Rob LOVE donuts, so they decided to buck tradition and embrace that love. Their “donut” cutting was such fun! Guests were head over heels for the unique treat. It was truly an incredible night.
