Rose Quartz and Serenity Blue Wedding at the Legend of Brandybrook

When you meet Elly and Dan, it’s the constant laughter that wraps you up and leaves you feeling like you’re floating on champagne bubbles. Their wedding day felt just like that too. Joy, fun, energy beyond energy and plenty of giggles and surprises to go around. For two high school sweethearts who were about to strike out on their own in another state, and the whole new adventure of marriage – this send-off couldn’t have been more fitting.

They decided upon a color scheme of rose quartz and serenity blue with crystal accents to highlight the pantone color of the year for this elegant Legend of Brandybrook Wedding. It started with the selection of the gorgeous Amelishan bride and bridemaid dresses accented with stunning rose and succulent filled bouquets. All the stunning printed materials created by Coqui Paper highlighted the fun color scheme.

The stunning St Jerome Catholic Church served as the perfect location for the ceremony. With it’s vaulted ceiling and gorgeous stained glass windows, it served for the most romantic backdrop for Elly and Dan’s union.

The lovely Legend of Brandybrook served as the reception space. The elegant wood beams and romantic uplighting radiated an understated elegance. Waukesha Floral transformed the space with alternating high and low centerpieces filled with blush and cream florals accented with powder beads and warm candlelight. 

The highlight of the evening was when Elly surprised Dan with a performance from the University of Wisconsin Marching Band. Not only are both Elly and Dan alumni of University of Wisconsin, but Dan was a part of the marching band. It was the perfect ending to a truly spectacular day.

When the editor of TheEveryLastDetail.com first asked for guest contributors, I was hesitant. I was unsure of my ability to communicate my knowledge to her readers. Romantic Floral Wedding at Iron Horse Hotel

I’m always in search of unique and beautiful venues around town. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that I fell in love with the Iron Horse Hotel from the first time I visited. The Iron Horse Hotel was a 100-year-old warehouse that has been transformed into a one-of-a-kind hotel that delivers an authentic Milwaukee experience. It’s right next door to Harley Davidson! Bonus…it’s dog friendly!

Highlighting the venue’s stunning architecture, we focused on creating a romantic floral Iron Horse Hotel Wedding. A color scheme of cream and red with leather accents melded the venue’s styling with the romance for which we strived. It started with the stunning invitation suite created by Chirp Paperie. We then selected a complementary gown from Miss Ruby’s Bridal Boutique accent with pieces by Milwaukee’s own Jaxie.

Milwaukee Flower Co. transformed the ceremony and reception spaces with stunning flowers in the color scheme within various vessels. The tables were also accented with travel-themed rental pieces provided by Relics Vintage Rentals. The whole space was beautiful lit by Milwaukee Airwaves. The highlight of the reception was the gorgeous white on white floral cake expertly crafted by The Cake Lady on a beautifully accented cake table.

One of the unique features of the Iron Horse Hotel is that they are a dog-friendly hotel, which means your four-legged buddy can attend the wedding. Being a dog-mommy myself, I know how important it is to include Fido in your big day. Jemma – a black lab-terrier mix – served as the flower girl. She was with the bride in her bridal suite to get ready, took part in the ceremony and even made an appearance at the head table at the reception. She was a great addition!
